Released in 2008, the story is set in 1940 where a man (not an adulterous man) plots his wife’s murder instead of putting her through the humiliation of a divorce. What an irony, isn’t it? The husband is so much in love that he does not want her wife to go thru all the pain of separation, so thinks that it will be easy for her to die.
I liked the plot. The twist in the story is that husband didn’t know his wife is also having an affair. But here is the double shot… She is also not getting divorce because she also thinks that after divorce her husband will be devastated, will die of over drinking or commit suicide. This is love, really. :)
This is a must watch movie for all the married couples, especially who are nearing a decade of marriage. You can find different ways to revive your love… oops… I meant married life. :)
But did you notice what they missed by not telling each other what they really wanted. Pierce Brosnan is the DOG! You will know what I mean, when you watch the movie! ;)
