Burning waste, if not worse, than will be as bad as generating power with coal. We need to comeup with a clean and countinious power supply. I recently read that in Japan, scientiests are trying to generate solar power from space. Sun ray are 6-7 times stronger in space (above earth atmosphere). The target to 2020 to have that setup in space. Once that space cell is created, it will transfer power in form of a laser to an receiving station on earth. Now this is called clean!
