Weekend Cocktails
Usually whenever we friends meet, we end up drinking quite late in night. The drink menu usually is Whiskey, and Vodka. Rarely wines. Of late we are drinking too much of single malts, and I must say that I am able to distinguish one form the other, but still a long way to go to become a whiskey taster.
For last few years, I am getting inclined towards cocktails and that to inclination is more towards making them. I have been attending cocktail making sessions once in a while organized by Smirnoff. Recently I bought a book on making Cocktails and have gradually collected most of the common stuff used for making cocktails.
So last Saturday, I got the opportunity to try my skills at home when few of our friends dropped in. So I tried making B52, Sea breeze, Black Russian, Cosmopolitan.
No prizes in guessing about what B52 is named after… It is named after US B52 bombers. B52 or rather B50 series is a layered drink where density of the liqueur does the trick. Of course you need a skilled hand at pouring the liqueur. (For recipe of other cocktails, I shall be writing them separately).

On few earlier occasions I have tried my hand on Capirozka & Mojito. These two make an excellent refreshing drink with a hint of mint & sugar.
Anyway, we started having our cocktails at around 9 PM and by the time we finished, it was 4 AM next morning… Actually I think that I can get at least a bartender job somewhere. It is good to have additional skills that can earn you some money. WIth so much of uncertanity in IT industry it makes a good business sense.
