Everyone buys a headphone. Why should I be writing about mine? You shall be wondering… right? But today when I saw people raising eyebrows and asking for a demo I felt a need to ink it down. Over the years I have bought many headphones, none of them lasted for more than a year. The last one I bought was from Altec Lansing… it’s still working though.
I yesterday bought ‘Bose QuiteComfort 2’. I am the source of amusement in office today… people are talking about me, when they pass by me I can see a grin on their faces. But that has not changed my choice to listen to good & quality music.
I am avid lover of music, and my taste of music is vast, and I usually prefer listening music at high volume. My taste for music ranges from fusion, gazals, hindi contemporary, Indian classical, folk, trance to english pop, jazz, rock to name the few. My wife usually does not like my choice of music and over that the high volume I am used to (of course this is not just the only difference we have :) ). So this gave me enough excuse to spend some money on a headphone.
Now BOSE QC-2 was something that was on my wish list since a long time… almost 3 years. And usually my conscious mind did not allowed to go out and buy it out… but this year… I mean the first day of this year I was listening to Indian classical – raga malhar by Pt. Jasraj, and there again she asked to change the track… I finally thought that enough of this… so next thing I did was went out with her to a BOSE showroom and pick a Headphone… :)
